Add Device Inventory Record

Device Name: Required. Examples: ptl33b-asa1 caed1c-ssa1
Maintenance Contract: Not required, but specify it here and
you won't need to go update each individual record
Lease Schedule: Not required, but specify it here and
you won't need to go update each individual record

Enter the name of the device or the first switch in the 3750 stack which is installed. This will query the device via SNMP and will populate inventory records for each switch in the stack, and for each module installed in a chassis switch. See supported device list below.

At present you will need to manually update the records to include the following (to be added via this page in the future):
You will also need to change the following if the defaults are not appropriate:
Location Code defaults to first token (separated by "-") of device name.
DescriptionDefaults to something based on last three characters of device name.
Example: caed1c-ssa1 will default to "Server Switch Row a"
Asset TagDefaults to serial number
WAN-LANDefaults to something based on last three characters of device name
isRouter? Defaults to something based on last three characters of device name
Management Priority Defaults to 3
