Neviusia alabamensis - Alabama Snow-wreath. Alabama Snow-wreath is a rare decidous shrub with a blackberry-like stem, but the snow-wreath is thornless. It's a native plant found only in 6 states, and is listed as Threatened in its namesake Alabama, in Tennessee, and in Georgia, where it is found only in Walker County.

The Alabama Snow-wreath blossom lacks petals, but has many showy white stamens backed by 5 to 7 toothed green sepals.
